whatever you build next.
Managed WordPress hosting on Plesk, and a platform that also runs Node.js with deployment straight from Git. Most shared hosting still cannot do the second one.
wordpress hosting
WordPress Toolkit, one-click staging, updates with a way back, daily backups you restore yourself.
See WordPress plansnode.js & git deployment
Build a site with Claude or Cursor, push it to GitHub, and it deploys itself. No VPS, no cold starts, no per-request billing.
Node.js hostingThe way sites get built is changing quickly, and most hosting has not moved with it. We think push-to-deploy stops being a developer convenience and starts being how everyone ships — so it is on the standard plans, not an enterprise tier.

included on every plan.
Not a starter tier with the useful parts sold back to you.
Daily backups, 30 days of history
Every site is backed up daily and kept for 30 days, and you restore it yourself from the control panel — no ticket, no waiting, no charge to get your own data back.
Free SSL certificates
Let's Encrypt certificates issue and renew automatically on every plan. Not free for the first year — free, and they keep renewing themselves.
WAF, malware removal, firewalls
An Imunify360 web application firewall filters attacks before they reach your site, malware is scanned for and removed automatically, and fail2ban blocks brute-force logins. Included on the platform, not sold back as a bolt-on.
Every PHP version, 5 to 8.5+
An unusually wide range of PHP, switchable per site — a legacy application on PHP 5 and a modern one on 8.5 can live on the same account. Most hosts pin you to one or two. (Node.js runs on our dedicated Node.js plans.)

Choose planA first site or a blog
One WordPress install, a handful of pages, traffic in the hundreds a month. The entry plan covers this comfortably and you can move up later without rebuilding.
A business site that matters
Contact forms, booking, a few thousand visits a month, and a real cost to being offline. Worth the mid tier for the headroom and the faster support path.
WooCommerce or several sites
A shop taking payments, or a handful of client sites under one account. Go higher — carts are database-heavy and slow checkout costs sales directly.
everything wordpress needs, already switched on.
Not a generic stack with WordPress installed on top of it.
WordPress Toolkit built in
Install, clone, stage and roll back from one screen. Scan for vulnerable plugins and harden a site in a couple of clicks.
Staging that is actually usable
Copy the live site to staging, break it, fix it, push it back. No plugin to buy, no manual database surgery.
Updates with a way back
Automatic core and plugin updates, with a restore point taken first — so an update that misbehaves is a two-minute fix rather than an evening.
Free SSL, renewed automatically
Let's Encrypt certificates issue and renew themselves. No expiry emails, no lapsed padlock, no annual scramble.
Tuned for WordPress
Plesk with WordPress-aware caching and sensible PHP defaults, rather than a generic stack you have to talk into behaving.
Backups you can download
Scheduled backups you can restore yourself or take away with you. Your site is never held hostage.
Domain search
every site starts with a domain.
Search every extension we sell. Registration, transfer and renewal prices shown side by side — because a cheap first year on an expensive renewal is not a bargain.

on shared hosting.
Most shared hosting is PHP and nothing else, which is why the standard advice for anything JavaScript is “get a VPS”. Our Node.js plans run it through Passenger and pull from your Git repository on push.
Write it with Claude, Cursor or Copilot, push the repository, and it is live — no VPS to rent, no build pipeline to wire up first.
We can be specific about this one: this website is a Next.js application running on that stack, deployed from GitHub.
Animated illustration: application code is written, then deployed to SPARKZ with a single git push and goes live.

what to check before you buy hosting. anywhere.
Budget hosting is cheap for twelve months. These are the six places the cost usually reappears — worth asking any provider, including us.
| What to check | SPARKZ | Common elsewhere |
|---|---|---|
| Renewal pricing | Changes only with advance notice | Headline rate for year one, then a steep increase |
| Control panel | Plesk included on every plan | Often a cut-down panel, with the full one as an upgrade |
| SSL certificates | Free and automatic, forever | Free for a year, then billed |
| Migration | Managed, you approve the switch | Self-service, or charged per site |
| Backups | Daily, 30 days, self-restore | Retained, but charged to restore |
| Support | UK team who run the platform | Outsourced first line working from a script |
| Where your data lives | UK data centres | Wherever is cheapest, often overseas |
| Who you are buying from | A UK company registered in Liverpool | Often a brand reselling someone else's platform |

common questions
Can you move my existing website to SPARKZ?
Yes, and we handle it for you. We copy your files, databases, mailboxes and DNS records to our platform, run the site on a temporary address so you can check it, and only switch your domain over once you are happy. Most sites move with no downtime at all.
Where are your servers?
In UK data centres. Your website files, databases and backups stay in the United Kingdom, which matters if you handle personal data and need to say plainly where it is processed.
Can my price change?
It can. Like any provider our costs move, so prices are reviewed from time to time. What we do not do is advertise a low introductory rate designed to jump the moment your first term ends. If a price does change we tell you in advance, so you always have the chance to decide before it applies.
Do I get SSL certificates included?
Yes. Free Let's Encrypt certificates are built into Plesk on every hosting plan and renew automatically. If you need an organisation-validated or wildcard certificate we sell those too.
What is the difference between shared hosting and a cloud server?
On shared hosting your site runs alongside others on a managed server and we handle the maintenance — right for most brochure sites, blogs and small shops. A cloud server gives you dedicated CPU and memory with root access, which you want when traffic grows, when you need specific software, or when consistent performance matters more than convenience.
Can I host more than one website on a single plan?
On most of our Plesk plans, yes. Check the plan details for how many domains it covers — and if you are hosting sites for clients, our reseller plans are built for that and let you bill under your own brand.
Do you back my site up, and can I restore it myself?
Yes to both. Sites are backed up daily and 30 days of history is kept, and you restore from the control panel yourself rather than raising a ticket and waiting. Restoring your own data does not cost anything — being charged to get your site back is a practice we would rather not copy.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
We accept credit card, debit card and Direct Debit, billed monthly or annually. You can cancel from your client area; see our terms for the notice period and your statutory cancellation rights.
