A cache that does not understand the editor serves you the old page while you are trying to change it. Ours excludes logged-in editor sessions.
“Layout differs between editor and front end”
Usually: Stale generated CSS
Elementor writes CSS files per page. When those go stale or fail to regenerate the two views diverge — usually a permissions or disk issue rather than a design one.

Copy staging back over, then clear both Elementor's generated CSS and the server cache so the front end matches what you built.

Why is my Elementor editor slow or stuck loading?
Nine times out of ten it is PHP memory or execution time rather than Elementor itself. The editor loads far more than the published page does, so a plan sized only for visitor traffic struggles the moment you start building. Raising the memory limit resolves most cases; if it does not, the next suspects are a conflicting plugin or an unusually large template.
Elementor says my changes are not saving. What is happening?
Usually the save request is timing out. Saving a long page is a single PHP request that has to write a lot at once, and if max_execution_time is set tightly the server cuts it off partway. The work looks lost but the page is simply unchanged. More execution time and more memory resolve it.
Do I need Elementor Pro as well as hosting?
They are separate things. Elementor Pro is a licence bought from Elementor for the extra widgets and the theme builder. Hosting is where the site runs. Free Elementor works on any of our WordPress plans; Pro adds features and does not change the hosting requirement.
Will you move my existing Elementor site across?
Yes. Elementor sites migrate like any WordPress site — files, database, mailboxes and DNS. The thing worth checking afterwards is that global templates and Site Settings carried over, since those live in the database rather than the theme, and we verify that before anything switches.
Does caching interfere with Elementor?
It can, and it is the usual cause of 'my changes are not showing'. A cache that does not understand the editor serves you the old page while you edit it. Our caching excludes logged-in editor sessions, so the builder shows live state while visitors still get a cached page.
Is Elementor slower than a hand-built theme?
It produces more markup than a carefully hand-coded theme, so on identical hosting a bespoke build will usually edge it. In practice that difference is far smaller than the gap between good and bad hosting — and unoptimised images will cost you more speed than Elementor ever will.
Can I use Elementor with WooCommerce?
Yes, and Elementor Pro includes WooCommerce widgets for product and checkout layouts. Bear in mind a shop is heavier than a brochure site: cart and checkout pages cannot be cached the way a landing page can, so size the plan for the shop rather than the homepage.
Should I use Elementor at all?
If you are building your own site and want control over layout without writing code, it is a good tool and this is the right hosting for it. If you want something simpler with fewer decisions, our site builder may suit you better — and if a developer is building for you, ask them, because they may prefer to work in a theme.
